OverviewGrana Padano is a hard Italian cheese. The name comes from grana, grains of the grated cheese, and Padano, the Italian name for the Po Valley. Grana Padano is much like Parmesan, where it is often confused with. Unlike Parmesan cheese, which should be in accordance with strict rules and in a limited area in the vicinity of Parma, only made Grana Padano in a large part of northern Italy, the Po Valley to the Dolomites produced. The cheese is not so fat, and is slowly matured milk from cows that graze on grass pastures.

Vacuumed cheese can be stored in the refrigerator at least 2 months. When the cheese is removed from the vacuum packaging, we advise you to consume the cheese within 2 weeks. Should there be any form of mold then this can be cut out with a knife. Mold occurs earlier in young cheese than old cheese.
